QUETZALTENANGO | Quetzaltenango prepares to host a new edition of the 2026 Western Business Forum, the event seeking to boost decentralization and economic growth in the region. For the third consecutive year, the country's west will become the epicenter of Guatemalan business activity on May 7 at the Gran Karmel Convention Center.

The organization confirmed that the gathering will bring together over 1,200 business owners, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers, solidifying its place as a fundamental platform for knowledge generation and strengthening the local business ecosystem. Under the "Training Day" concept, this edition aims to decentralize access to high-level opportunities, connecting the region with sustainable growth dynamics and enabling strategic business development outside the capital.

Alexis Canahui, founder of OX, highlighted that the main objective is to establish a meeting point where talent and opportunities converge. The event will feature a series of high-impact conferences and specialized networking spaces, specifically designed to facilitate strategic conversations among attendees.

Confirmed speakers include notable figures such as Arturo Batres, founder of Farmacias Batres and an agribusiness leader; Alfredo Vila, president of ASAZGUA; Samantha Nanne, specialist in organizational culture and business leadership; and Francisco Páez, founder of Teraby and lead singer of Malacates Trébol Shop, who will share his vision on brand evolution and creativity.

Those interested in attending the 2026 Western Business Forum can find additional details and register through the official website: www.oxforo.com.
