Well-being is Experienced Throughout Guatemala with the Fourth Bantrab Tour
Guatemala, April 22, 2025. Convinced that sport fosters values, identity, and social cohesion, and committed to its slogan "Your well-being is our work," Bantrab announced the fourth edition of the Bantrab Tour, together with the Guatemalan Cycling Federation.
The Financial Group promotes comprehensive well-being through initiatives that transform lives. Carlos Carías, Marketing and Communications Director, pointed out, "We are excited to bring this sport closer to more Guatemalans, because we believe in the value of people and their work; our purpose is their well-being and their future."
Since 2022, and through the Social and Development Pillar of its Well-being Strategy, Bantrab has been committed to financial education, sports, and health.
"Holding another edition of the Bantrab Tour reflects our authentic commitment to the progress of our society. We believe in the power of sport as an engine for change: it strengthens the body, nourishes the soul, and cultivates essential values such as discipline, teamwork, and leadership," expressed Jesús Pineda, Manager of Strategic Clusters.
This pedal party, with a 2.2 category from the International Cycling Union (UCI), will take place from April 30th to May 4th. The 96 participating cyclists will cover 633.5 kilometers in five stages:
First stage (143 kilometers)
San Lucas Sacatepéquez – El Tejar – Bypass – Tecpán – Patzicía – Bypass – El Tejar – Santo Domingo Xenacoj – El Tejar – Bypass – La Bóveda – Parramos
Second stage (144.7 kilometers)
Antigua Guatemala – Escuintla – Siquinalá – End of the Peripheral Ring Road – Siquinalá (3 laps) – End of the Peripheral Ring Road – Cocales – Patulul
Third stage (128.8 kilometers)
Chicacao – Cocales – Patulul – San Lucas Tolimán – Godínez – Las Trampas – Los Encuentros – Pamezabal
Fourth stage (106 kilometers)
Central Park of Sololá – Universidad del Valle – La Cuchilla – Pamezabal – La Cuchilla – Los Encuentros – Tecpán – Patzicía
Fifth stage (111 kilometers)
Bantrab Central Tower – Mariscal Zavala – Sanarate – Guastatoya – El Rancho – Guastatoya – Texaco La Terminal Gas Station Sanarate
Ten national and six international teams will participate in this edition of the Bantrab Tour.
