Designed by Guatemalan artisans, the official Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 crown is an unprecedented jewel: mounted on silver, set with fine crystals, and enriched with Guatemalan jade, it pays homage to Quetzaltenango and the country's ancestral tradition.
On July 12th in Quetzaltenango, the new Miss Universe Guatemala will be crowned with a unique jewel that celebrates the soul, tradition, and beauty of our country. The official Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 crown has been designed and crafted by renowned Guatemalan artisans Rubén and Gilda Pérez, from the workshop Jade y Plata Joyas Exclusivas Pérez Jiménez, located in Jocotenango, Sacatepéquez.
This exceptional piece is much more than an accessory: it is a symbol of national identity, intertwining the richness of our roots with traditional Guatemalan art. The crown was created as a tribute to Quetzaltenango, this year's pageant host city, and incorporates three hand-carved green jade moons, inspired by the emblematic song “Luna de Xelajú,” an icon of love, nostalgia, and tradition that unites all Guatemalans.
Mounted on an elegant silver structure, the crown gleams with fine crystals that give it light, brilliance, and movement. But its true treasure lies in the more than 80 jade stones, carefully hand-carved by Rubén and Gilda Pérez using ancestral techniques and a deep love for Guatemala.
